Honors Classes

Students admitted to the honors diploma program will select a mentor from among a group of trained teachers who will serve a critical role in the development of an individualized program of study.  Mentors will help honors diploma candidates set and reach short-term and long-term academic and career goals.  

Candidates must have a sophomore standing with a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average.  It is our desire to encourage students to take courses that will best prepare them for college.  This rigorous course of study is for the student who enjoys learning and wants to explore a subject through classroom and practical experience.
